Hello,

I have a practical problem. I want to renew the T-Top weatherstrips of my 1980 Firebird Esprit. I found at Classic Industries e.g. different kinds of weatherstrips...

The problem is now, they ask for the type of T-tops which are used ( Fisher or Hurst ) and even which gen. of Tops are installed???

Can somebody tell me how i can see which kind of T-Tops are installed on my car?? :rolleyes:

Hi Xavier!

The Hurst Tops were only used until 1978, so I guess your Esprit has the Fisher Tops. Just have a look on the middle bar of your roof, if it is only about 20 cm wide, it must be a Fisher Top. The Hurst Tops were smaller, so the middle bar was about 30 cm wide.
